Does K7 total security use upto 27GB a month

Hi, I've been using K7 for a couple of years and currently I'm using K7 Total Security. For the first time I checked data usage on my laptop (past 30 days) and I was surprised to see this. Why does "K7TWP.exe" use 27GB of data. Or is it a malware or virus of some sort

    Why K7 total security is blocking my commonly used websites ?

    my commonly used sites are blocked after installing K7 setup. how to resolve it. my window defender firewall is also turned ON on my PC. Please help me find any solution to safe use of my websites. I am attaching a screen shot of the site please. please reply soonest.

    We do like to update you that K7TWP is known as "K7 Transparent Web Proxy" created by K7 to monitor the intrusions of malicious content through Internet service.

    It is a service that works as a proxy tunnel for your Computer by verifying your incoming packets from the Internet and Local networks into your Computer.

    So in case if you are browsing/downloading any file from web browsers or any other apps connected to the internet sources it has to go through a scanning via TWP and then it will be downloaded and it applies for Windows Updates too.

    So that you will see there is maximum usage of Network bandwidth in K7 TWP but actually the data used are from different sources, not the K7 alone as most data traffic passes through k7 web proxy ( K7twp ).
