Application error 0x000005c after installing K7

Scenario: While accessing any application, you may receive the application error 0x000005c after installing K7. This may be because of multiple Anti-virus enabled in the system.

Steps to follow:

  1. Disable K7 from the taskbar/show hidden icons.
  2. If you are unable to find the K7 icon, boot the system in safe mode.
  3. Uninstall another anti-virus from the control panel and boot it in normal mode.
  4. If the issue persists, Remove K7 and send the diag report to proceed further.
  5. Click on the below link to download diag tool and send it to support@k7computing.com
