Submitting False URL Detection Blocked by K7 Safe Surf

Scenario:  

If you're unable to access a website due to it being blocked by K7 Safe Surf, it indicates that the URL may be flagged as potentially malicious. However, if you believe the URL is safe and this is a false positive, you can report it by following the steps outlined below.

Steps to Troubleshoot:

  1. Check for Product Updates
    • Ensure that the K7 Security Product is up to date before proceeding with troubleshooting. This can prevent issues caused by outdated versions.
    • Go to K7 Product > Update > Check for Updates.
  2. Retrieve Blocked URLs Report
    • Open the K7 Security Product.
    • Navigate to Reports > Security History.
    • Select K7 Privacy > Blocked URLs.
    • On the right side, you will find a list of the blocked URLs.
    • Click on the file, save it, and prepare to send it to support email id along with screenshot.
  3. Send the Blocked URLs Report
